The Trip Code is a feature added to the SafeTravels platform that allows you to provide your customers with a unique code for their trip, and they can manually add themselves to a trip, without the need for your company to Send Trip invites.
This has a number of benefits:
- For many Activity Providers, you only receive the contact details of the person who made the booking, limiting who you can provide the app to. With the Trip Code, this allows the Booking contact to provide the code to other members of the trip / activity and they can use the app.
- Occasionally, you will have customers who provide one email for their booking, but use another email for their SafeTravels app account registration. This enables the code to add themselves to the trip.
Please Note: each time a user manually adds themselves to a trip using the Trip Code, this will count as one of your monthly Invites in your Subscription plan.
How do I find my Trip Code?
The Trip Code is found in the Top Right of the Trip Header. It is a 6 digit code consisting of letters and numbers
How does the customer use the trip code?
The customer simply creates a SafeTravels account and enter the code as part of the registration process, or enter the code through the My Trips page.
